I’m Louise,
I’m sober, a survivor, neurodivergent, I have lived experience of trauma and over 20 years working in emergency services,
I’m not just a counsellor, I am real, I am human, I swear, and I believe I am someone who genuinely "gets it.".
I am passionate about helping you. Life can be traumatic, messy, painful, and just too bloody much.
I know how hard it can be to navigate those feelings on your own.
I offer a uniquely comfortable, safe, non-judgmental space where you can speak freely about your struggles. I’ll answer questions, talk with you not at you. I wont push you to do or say anything that does not feel right.
I bring my down-to-earth, caring, and empathetic approach to our sessions, helping you feel understood and supported every step of the way.
Together, we’ll unpack the emotional weight you’ve been carrying, find clarity, and work towards healing. You don’t have to do this alone, I'm here to help you move forward with confidence and self-compassion, no matter how long that takes.

How much will it COST?
I offer a sliding scale for session costs to ensure accessibility for all clients. My standard individual session costs for 50 minutes is £65, the lowest concession is £40.
Couples therapy is £80 for 60 minutes, £100 for 75 minutes, £120 90 minutes, for which there is no sliding scale - couples Saturday sessions are limited and booked at a 75 mins standard minimum session subject to availability.
Couples 90 mins, 120 mins and 4 hour work shops are available on a case by case basis on request following assessment session.
Concessions are limited and may not always be available. Please check availability on enquiry to avoid disappointment.
The individual counselling fees are based on your financial situation. Here’s how to determine where you might fall on our scale:
A: £65 (Normal Fee)
I am comfortably able to meet my basic needs* all the time.
I am employed and/or have a regular income (such as a wage or benefits).
I have access to ample financial savings or assets.
I have ample disposable income. For example, I can regularly eat out, get take aways, go out for coffee, attend events or activities like yoga classes or cinema, and buy new clothes/books every month.
B: £50 (Average)
I am able to meet my basic needs* the majority of the time.
I am employed and/or have a regular income (such as a wage or benefits).
I have access to some financial savings.
I have a moderate expendable income. For example, I can sometimes eat out, get a take away, go out for coffee, or attend events or activities like yoga classes or cinema.
C: £40 (Low)
I may stress about meeting my basic needs* but still regularly achieve them.
I have a regular income (such as a wage or benefits).
I don’t have any savings.
I rarely have expendable income. For example, I can rarely eat out, get a take away, go out for coffee, or attend events or activities.
I hold marginalised identities that impact my access to money.
I cannot afford an annual holiday or take time off without financial burden.
Please note that there is a limited number of concession fees available.
*Basic needs include housing (rent/mortgage), food, transportation, healthcare, and utilities.
